Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki

Whether you’d like support with the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual – Reiki can help you feel better. With its origins in Japan, Reiki is a simple but powerful healing art that balances and restores the body.  It helps you relax and brings ease to the body and the mind.  It can also diminish or alleviate physical pain, accelerate healing, and assist in providing equilibrium during challenging times and change.

What happens during a hands-on Reiki treatment?
During a treatment, the client lies comfortably and fully clothed on a Reiki/massage table.  The practitioner gently lays their hands on the client in a series of formal positions and allows the Reiki energy to flow through them to the client.  Typically, a full treatment includes the front and back of the body and lasts about 60 minutes.  However, even a little Reiki can be beneficial and make a difference.

What is a distant treatment?
A distant Reiki treatment is an advanced tool of Reiki that sends the Reiki energy to anyone, situation or circumstance regardless of time or space.  Distant Reiki can be sent to people, places and circumstances anywhere in the world with the same quality Reiki.

What is Usui Shiki Ryoho?usui-shiki-ryoho
Usui Shiki Ryoho is a way of identifying the practice of Reiki that recognizes and honors the spiritual lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. The system taught by masters of Usui Shiki Ryoho emphasizes the value of self-treatment as the core of the practice, encourages the treatment of family and friends, acknowledges that doing Reiki is a life-long practice through which the depth of the gifts of healing and growth are manifested.  It also assures you, the client, of a quality reiki experience and practice.

About Nancie Teresa
I have practiced Reiki for nearly 15 years.  When I began Reiki, it felt like coming home.  Taking the First Degree Reiki Class was an important beginning in my own healing and journey.  A few years later, I continued on to do the 2nd Degree course and expanded my practice outside of family of friends to share with others in a professional capacity.

Beginning in 2011, I had the pleasure of international travel and the opportunity to meet and learn from Reiki Masters throughout Europe. I spent time with Reiki Masters who were part of the beginnings of this system of Reiki and knew the founding people, places and stories. I have come to know and understand the people and practice of Reiki in a more humane, humble, grounded and expansive way. In 2012 I had the wonderful opportunity to take “The Way to Harmony” Aikido course with Paul Mitchell, head of the discipline for Usui Shiki Ryoho.

I am grateful to share Reiki with others.  Reiki is a wonderful gift and it can add a lot to your life.  It is my pleasure to pass it on.

Hand-on Reiki Treatment
I am available to give hands-on Reiki treatments.  A full treatment lasts about an hour. If you are interested or curious, please contact me for rates, questions, or to schedule an appointment. If I am not in your location, I am also happy to help you locate a practitioner in your area or even connect you with a Usui Shiki Ryoho Master teacher and First Degree Class.

Distant Reiki Treatments
As an advanced student of Reiki, I offer distant Reiki treatments. Distant Reiki can be sent to any person and any situation regardless of time and physical location. Distant treatments are the same healing energy that is offered during a hands on treatment with all the healing benefits.

Distant Reiki can also be used to clear the energy of a home, business or any location.  It’s a great way to support homes that are for sale and also to help foster harmony in the home and bring a little motion to circumstances that need support.
